Message from our Discord server: Okay well hello @everyone how is your life, mine is certainly good but could be better. I know this will come as a shock to some especially because they have waited for this game long enough to which I cannot express how thankful I am, I mean, I even got @Emperor Troller#4833 motivated to make a game himself... Unfortunately, the whole ass fucking file had corrupted and all the progress that you have been seeing in #backrooms-1983🎮, all the sneak peeks, everything, has been practically either erased without any warning or well, just became a part of the corrupted game file, either way, I'm fucking furious. Not only that I have spent about good half the year to developing this, I mean the Alpha 2 was even thought to be a full release at this point, but I guess it was too good to be true. In short, the game #backrooms-1983🎮 has been corrupted and is unable to be worked on. There came up a message that I clicked immediately on, being the rush-fuckup-regret person that I am. I can't remember what it is clearly that it said in the text but it's something along lines of the attached image I think (without the last part). But you know what? I think this may be a good thing. Of course, a huge chunk of my time had been erased for practically no reason but the game development knowledge that I've gained over those 6 months stays in my head. Don't get me wrong, I am raging as double the time that you will be but if life had taught me one thing it is that we have to move on. Especially from something like this. I'm not a PC mastermind and do not know if I can get the game file somehow back or not but it's time to evolve bois. We're moving to Unreal Engine, at least it won't be that *corruptible* I hope. Yes it will be tough but I'll fuck right through it, don't worry. Now's the next question: What game do I make? I'll leave that question to you guys as I already have some kind of RPG-style game in my head that I'd like to try.  That's mainly it, from now on I'm using Unreal Engine as my main game engine, and I hope things will get better for this point on wards. Thanks for all the love and support during backrooms-1983🎮 's development time, I cannot express how much it is of value to me. Maybe I make another one in the future someday.
